Students agree that last night’s vice presidential debate was a blood sport. MTV News spoke with students at Baruch College in New York following the debate, and while the interviewees liked the substance of the debate and found the differences between the candidates revealing, not all of them found Biden’s aggressive stance entertaining.

“Biden did come off to me at least as really interruptive. His smiles all the time, his making faces, I didn’t like that,” said one student, referring to Biden’s dismissive attitude when he viewed a Ryan statement as false. Other students found Biden’s eagerness to call out Ryan refreshing. “I enjoyed it. It’s nice to see people recover when someone else calls their bluff for example.”
