Denver University is hosting the first presidential debates this Wednesday, and MTV News is on the scene to ask students what they’d like to hear the candidates discuss. Their answers ranged from pot legalization (this ain’t your grandpa’s Denver) to immigration reform, with a steady chorus of students concerned about the cost of education.
“Any student, any parent is going to tell you that getting into college is only half the battle,” said Sam Kern. “I've been hearing a lot of different things about how the government is going to help students and if I want to go to grad school, if I want to stay in school now I'm going to really need to start paying attention to aid.”
