Going into the debate, Kaitlin Lang was most concerned about the cost of college. But she found it hard to tell the difference between Obama and Romney and make up her mind about them. The debate didn’t help all that much. "There was a lot of great issues discussed, but I still don't really know where I stand," she said afterward. "It seemed like they both talked in a lot of circles. So I definitely want to see more," adding that she was disappointed that the candidates didn’t discuss youth voters’ issues more.
Alexandra Gardner is a Denver U student who comes from a political family but hasn’t yet made up her made about this election. Before the debate started, she explained that she hoped the candidates would discuss what to do about global warming. Unfortunately, the topic never came up. Though the debate got her fired up, it didn’t really help her decide between the two. "After tonight it really didn't swing me one way or another ... I think it's going to be a culmination of a lot of things."
